Man, oh man, there are no words that could describe the immense feelings had these past few days!

Every so often, you come across many individuals who get it and the Quad Cities has a conductor/artistic director(Nicolas Propes)& owner of Sound Conservatory, (Andrzej Kozlowsi) who not only gets it, but does it right and are in high esteem with their colleagues and peers alike.

Many thanks to Andrzej for hosting the masterclass and for letting me play Piazolla at the incredible Sound Conservatory and to Nick for allowing me to have musical conversations this past week with him with all the members of the Big River Brass Band at a SOLD OUT/standing room concert!

Thank you for such a wonderful weekend of laughs, tears, and the fellowship with a likeminded community. Last, but definitely not least, a HUGE thank you to the Millers for all their hard work,dedication, and continued support to such a wonderful ensemble, and the Conn Selmer dream team…here’s to another 20 years!!!!

Also, if you’ve never been to Sound Conservatory, you’re missing out on a hidden gem that sits in downtown Moline.
