Man oh man, where should I begin?!?!? This past season was filled with beauty, harmony, groove, and vibe with a likeminded collective.

Earlier this month, the Gateways Brass Collective was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall City initiative in Times Square. Every year Carnegie Hall teams up with Times Square Alliance as a major partner in the TSQ Live outdoor concert series. These are free neighborhood events that invites artist that previously performed at Carnegie Hall to showcase dynamic performances, classical ensembles, and contemporary/jazz shows directly to the people at the Broadway pedestrian plaza.

For this event we played original compositions, jazz, and you couldn’t leave New York without playing a few works by Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein. The crowd was amazing and a vibe was had.
